Originally released on CD under the name 'Split Second Feeling', this was my first release that wasn't just a collection of tracks. The title, 'Austere', and the subject matter for three of the five tracks came from the backdrop of trying to make ends meet during a period that would see me in and out of employment - whilst also dealing with the end of a long-term relationship (Seven Hills), and a death in the family (Memories of Adan).
