Chicago, 1904: Piano Explorations

This is my offering for Piano Day 2026

Chicago, 1904 is a tribute to my antique upright piano made by the Cable Company of Chicago. According to the serial number, it was manufactured in 1904. This is a collection of heavily affected recordings from my piano. I'm not super proficient on piano, so my main focus is on moods and textures. I call these "explorations" because that's the best word I can think of to describe them. Resampling, stretching, layering, processing and other effects have been implemented using various methods, both hardware and software.
