Pancho Bazán García

Victorica, La Pampa, Argentina

I am Pancho, I come from Victorica, the first town founded in the province of La Pampa, the gateway to a world I try to portray: the Western Pampas.

I am part of the legendary Artistic Community VUELAPELUCAS 3000.

I have been singing for as long as I can remember, thanks to the fact that my relatives are often involved in music and folk dances. My first public performances were when I was little (around 4 years old) in the town’s bars, where I was sometimes invited to sing a few songs. In my teenage years, I started accompanying myself on the guitar.

About 8 years ago, I began my solo project after having been a guitarist in other projects.

My intention is to paint a soundscape, drawing in people who want to listen to our region, while also leaving a record and carrying on the songs that the old singers used to sing so they are not forgotten.

I also accompany my work with these images based on the Western Pampas that I create in pixel art and other digital forms.
