By bringing our otherwise solitary sound practices together in collaboration, we have found a new energy, a space for connection and possibilities. With a shared interest in sound and listening as a social and therapeutic event, we are excited by the road ahead for this partnership we call Listening Service.

The name speaks to a utilitarian view of sound, one that seeks to open the door to the possibilities of playing with sound at every opportunity, extending our relationship with and responsibility to it. Listening then becomes the partner to sound in a reciprocal conversation, a way of being in the world.

Each experience is improvised and documented for our archive. We hope that some of our experience can be enjoyed by others in their own way.

All tracks from this EP were recorded during the same session at Ollie's studio. This was the first time we collaborated.

All tracks were mixed live and recorded straight to digital stereo.
