Voyage d'hiver (2017)

Winter journey / 冬の旅

I composed this for Japanese Butoh dancer, Gan Tokuda in 2017, for " Graphies choréacousmatiques " organised by the CRANE lab.

Until sometime in 2016, a piece for Tokuda was " Rhapsodie de celui qui est solitaire comme le feu " , which was not conceived for dance or butoh.
As a result of discussion with Tokuda, the creation of this new piece became necessary.
