--------------------------------------------------

This album collects a series of works I recorded whilst dealing with particularly heightened states of Generalised Anxiety Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. The final piece is a field recording of a blackbird singing, my favourite sound and the one thing that has helped me distance myself from intrusive thoughts.

The initial album was scrapped in early 2015 due to intrusive thoughts about the quality of my music, and I released a few of the tracks as an EP. I have more recently returned to the material and constructed an approximation of how the album would have sounded. It is missing one intended piece, 'Don't Fall Asleep', which was released on my 2021 album All Roads Lead to Polesworth.
